Alice is great! I was nervous about having someone come into my house and closet to look at my clothes, but she made the entire experience very comfortable. I was looking to reinvent myself and a new way of looking at my life and the clothes that I wear. I wanted to be viable in the work force and learn tools on how I could do so. Alice came to my house and did a Closet Edit! It was great! She shared with me how I could put together different outfits in ways I would never have thought of. Alice Sydow provided a professional presentation to The City Design Collaborative in Uptown this month. Ms. Sydow’s presentation was well received by all the consultants, staff, and partners working in the building. She spoke to the group about maintaining a professional image at work through proper business attire and professional tone. It was an educational and fun workshop that had a positive and lasting impression on everyone in the office. I would recommend all business owners hire Ms. Sydow to present to their office.

Alice Sydow facilitated the Minneapolis Urban League Young Professionals November general body meeting with ‘Working with Style.’ Alice was fantastic! She covered the ins and outs on how to dress fashionably in the workplace. Her presentation showcased her depth of knowledge on fashion styling for both male and female corporate professionals. Even when we had technical difficulties with the Urban League’s electronic equipment, that didn’t put a stop to Alice’s presentation. Alice is a superstar! Arc's Value Village has great things, but she picked out the very best for the Arc Gala -where she managed and styled the wardrobe for the entire show. She picked out 75 looks from our Value Village locations and put all of the outfits together and then had them in the fashion show for our gala which raised over $300,000. For years I have dreamed of someone helping me clean out my closet. What a gift to meet Alice! My classic wardrobe had become boring, and was in desperate need of an update. With sensitivity and kind words, she helped me let go of clothes that no longer fit, and clothes that did not flatter because of style or color.
For me, going through racks of clothes and trying to imagine wearing them, is complete drudgery. What a treat to walk into a dressing room stocked full of items that Alice had set aside for me.
